My emergency-management experience includes volunteer service with Howell Township Office of Emergency Management beginning in September 2024, supporting incident operations, preparedness, public events and interagency coordination. My résumé identifies several specific assignments in 2025 and 2026.
The challenge
Emergency management offices operate across preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation. Their work depends on clear roles, usable procedures, reliable information and practical coordination structures. The planning challenge is to translate broad doctrine and local operating realities into material that personnel can understand and use.
Approach
Research has included review of emergency management doctrine and public-sector guidance, development of organizational and operational concepts, and design exploration for EOC information displays and administrative tools. The emphasis is on clarity, scalability, and alignment with the authority and responsibilities of the relevant agency.
Outputs and status
Selected assignments listed in my résumé include authoring Howell Township’s 2025 “No Worries, We’re Howell Ready” National Preparedness Month campaign and hurricane preparedness campaign; serving as OEM Liaison / Prevention & Education Officer for 2025 National Night Out; serving as EMS Planning Coordinator, OEM Operations Chief and Overall Event Liaison Officer for the 2025/2026 Howell Township Summer Concert Series; and serving as EMS Liaison / Planner / IAP Author for the 2025/2026 Farmingdale Borough Memorial Day Parade. These are résumé-reported roles; this page does not claim that every planning product was adopted or that I held statutory command authority.
Role and boundaries
Research, drafting, concept development and digital prototyping as applicable to each initiative. This page does not imply appointment to a municipal office, authority to issue agency policy, or adoption of proposed recommendations.
